SUMMARY:Alpine Rally of East Gippsland
DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Alpine is the Oldest Surviving Motorsport Event in Australia and the Second Oldest Rally in the World! \n  \n \n  \nOnly a handful of motorsport events\, including the French Grand Prix\, the Monte Carlo Rally\, the Indianapolis 500\, Pikes Peak Hill Climb and the Italian Grand Prix\, are older.  So the Aussie Alpine Rally is in amazing company. \nThe Alpine is a Special Stage Rally for Two Wheel Drive Classic Rally Cars and usually covers Over 1\,000 km. \nThe event attracts the Cream of Australia’s Gravel Rally Competitors\, from all states and territories along with International Competitors from New Zealand\, the UK\, the USA and Ireland. \n2021 was the 100th Anniversary of the first running of the Alpine in 1921. \nUnfortunately\, due to COVID lockdowns the centenary celebrations were postponed to December 2022. \nThe East Gippsland weather was Fabulous in 2022 for the Alpine Rally Centenary and everyone had a Great Time. \n  \n \n  \nThe Lovell’s Alpine Rally of East Gippsland will be back in November 2025. \nThe Historic Rally Association is in the planning and the Excitement is Growing by the day. \nThe Alpine Committee will be reverting to the Traditional 2.5 Day Format for 2025 with the Amazing Action from Friday afternoon to Sunday. \nThe plan for 2025 is for Evolution\, not Revolution!  \nThe 2025 Lovell’s Apline Rally of East Gippsland will run with a spirit and an ethos that acknowledges the importance of an era in our Rally history\, with a particular focus on the “Golden Era” of Alpine Rallies in years gone by.  \nThe mantra for 2025 is “Celebrating the Past\, Creating History”\, acknowledge and celebrate the deeds of the past while we Write another Chapter of its History in 2025.  \n  \n \n  \nThe Rally Monaro has completed no less than 7 Apline Rallys driven by Rally Legend Ken Cusack within his 200+ Events History which is incredible. \nClearly the Dimech Brothers want to Honor this History and be part of an Alpine Rally themselves. \nPlans are underway to make 2025 the Dimech Brothers Alpine Rally and fingers crossed we can make the planets align. \nWe look forward to sharing the Rally Monaro Experience at the Alpine Rally once more. \n  \n \n  \n.

DESCRIPTION:The Kosciuszko Monaro Stages Rally is Back  on the 4th-5th October 2025.\n \nThe event will consist of Two Days and a Night with amazing Shire and Forest Roads to please. \n \nThe wonderful Light Car Club of Canberra team are excited to be working with AMSAG Inc to deliver what promises to be a Wonderful Event. \nOnce again you will have the chance to win the Debbie Quirk Memorial Trophy  \nIn 2023 Kosciuszko Monaro Stages Rally raised $11\,500 for the Cancer Care Foundation\, way to go everyone. \n \nAMSAG 2025 Southern Cross Rally Series consists of Six Events between March to November including the Monaro Stages. \nThe Kosciuszko Monaro Stages Rally will be on the 4th-5th of October making is a great opportunity to test your cars Before the 2025 Alpine Rally of East Gippsland. \n \nWith an event name\, Monaro Stages\, it certainly has caught the interest of the Dukes of Oz and is on our Bucket List so great to hear it has returned. \nWhile we have not experienced the Monaro Stages before\, we only need to see other V8 Rally Cars like this Red Rally Commodore of a previous competitor to know they are good. \nWell done Light Car Club of Canberra and AMSAG Inc in bringing back the Kosciuszko Monaro Stages Rally.  \n \nThis is an event to Come and Play on and Enjoy.

This is a “blind” event. DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Shannons Rally Retro Festival is on The Dukes of Oz Bucket List.  Unfortunately it is likely Rally Monaro will not be repaired in time to participate in 2025 which is a bit of a bugger. \nHowever Shannons Rally Retro Festival is Guaranteed to be full of Very Cool Retro Rally Cars so get along to it and Enjoy the History in Action. \n“Where the Cars are the Stars” \nThe Shannons Rally Retro Festival is an event designed to get historically significant rally cars “Out of the Shed and onto the Track” so we can Re-live the Magic that these cars brought to the forest. \nThey might be high quality Replicas\, restored Ex-Works prepared cars\, as rallied Time-Capsule Pieces or rally prepared examples of Iconic Rally Cars of the past. \nIt’s a chance for us all to Have a Good Look at these Special Retro Rally Cars\, which are often hidden away in sheds and see and Hear them Roar in Action\, on a short\, sealed rally course. \n\n\n \n\nThe event is ran by the Historic Rally Association and always has Great Reviews.
