Dukes of the Decades
Passionate People kept Monaros in Rally Events when Holden moved on
The Holden Racing Team and Holden Dealer Team only ran Monaros in Rally events for a few years.
The Dukes in between kept Monaros in the Rally Stages for Decades including Ken Cusack who competed in Victoria for about 40 years.
Over time we hope to collect all the Monaro Rally Car team stories from around Australia.
We would also love to capture Dukes from beyond, New Zealand and South Africa must have some Monaro Rally stories to share as well with Australian Export Monaros.
Ken Cusack
With over 200 Rally events in his Monaro, no-one will even top Ken as the Duke of the Decades. Supporting the Dimech Brothers as they keep the history alive on the stages, Ken is a Rally Monaro Legend.
Rex Monahan
Duel wheels on each side of the ex HDT Iron Horse Monaro in Rallycross set up. The axles did not last long on this flying Iron Horse but she hooked up like nothing else.
Mike Mitchell
Mike Mitchell had the talent to sit in either the Driver or Navigator seat during his rally career. When you own the Ex-Barry Ferguson HDT 350 Rally Monaro the Driver seat is yours.
Ivar Stanelis
Well known as the excellent Clerk of Course of the epic Rally of the Heartland and Barossa Rallies in South Australia for many years. As a Monaro Driver from way back its no wonder his events are Big Car favorites.
Michael Molloway
Running his 6 cylinder Monaro in Alpine Rallys keeping the legend alive long after others had hung up the Rally shoes. A Monaro and driver with a reliable finishing history that we hope to see again on stage in the future.

A Rally Cars History and Home is Dancing on the Dirt
What better way to preserve history than to keep adding to it. Our Monaro was built as a rally car and has a Legacy of over 200 events. Converting her to a street car would destroy the Legacy, we could not do that. Instead we aim to showcase the Legend of the Monaro Rally Cars in suitable events where all can experience and celebrate these Iconic Cars and Events that created the Legends.
It's about the Adventure for the Team, Crew and You
The Monaro is the "Camp Fire" that Friends and Family gather around. Strangers are drawn to her, Memories are refreshed and New Memories made. Work, Laugh and Learn together. This is Classic Rally.
