The Monaro is now ready for the 2025 Rally of the Heartland. Huge thanks to all those who helped get her back in shape with a few improvements along the way.

Some decent welding repairs, huge thanks to Adam the master welder fabricator. Adam’s pillar repair can only described as Industrial Art, nice work Mate.
New guards, lots of careful panel work and plenty of shed time by all and the Monaro sexy curves are back.

With some good guidance from experienced spray painters, Neil learnt as he went to deliver the Monaro a nice smooth fresh dress for the Heartland Ball. Great shed paint job, it is amazing what you can do with focus, patience and effort.

Finally after many months it was sticker time and the Rally Monaro Character was back. Colin Bond would be proud I am sure and great to see his name back on the Rally Monaro.

It takes a Tribe to race a Classic Rally Car as they say and we certainly had a lot of help and appreciate everyone of you. So much so the Rally Monaro now has an Honour Roll on its lovingly repaired roof with all the people who went well out of their way to enable the Monaro to get back onto the Rally Stage.

Paul our Sticker Man had the best idea and now the Monaro sports a beautiful Australian Flag in pride position. It does not get any more Aussie than a Monaro and Mates on an Adventure.

Plenty of Show now with the Go. Neil took the Monaro to Performance Auto & Dyno mainly for a health check but to also take advantage of their expertise to see if the tuning had any room for improvement.
With fresh fuel in the tank, (1 year old fuel octane is dead) a number of set ups were tested to make sure we had a safe tune through the full range and no dead spots.
With a jet change on the secondaries, perfection was found and a really nice powerful and safe curve is the result.

The Monaro’s that raced at Bathurst under the Holden Dealer Team had 300hp at the engine, we have more than that at the wheels and we are on the dirt with 205 tires. Happy Days and ready for the Rally of the Heartland.
Come and Play with a road trip to Burra, you will love it. We look forward to seeing you and taking people for rides in the Monaro on the Thursday Charity day.
